A Fit Mess

Hey there! Apologies for being a little late in sharing my monthly Stitch Fix items! This has been a busy month for us. My June shipment was just so-so. I wasn’t as excited about these items as my earlier fixes, but I did manage to find a couple of cute pieces.

If you aren’t familiar with Stitch Fix, it’s an online shopping service that pairs you with a personal stylist who selects 5 items specifically for you based on your style profile, Pinterest Style Board (if you create one), and special requests. You keep what you want and return what you don’t. The cost is $20 per shipment and that gets credited toward any purchases you make. You can decide on your shipment frequency (monthly, quarterly, etc.) and the price range you’d like to stay within.

For more tips on how to make the most out of your fixes (and spend wisely), check out my recent post. And, if you want to review my past fixes, I’ve listed my reviews at the end.

Interested in trying Stitch Fix? I would love you forever if you could use my affiliate link. Thank you so much for your support!

Ok, let’s review! Remember, if you see anything you like, you can always pin it to your Style Board or request it with your next shipment.

Luceea Dress (by THML)

A Fit Mess

In my notes to Katie I had requested a cotton jersey dress. I really liked the Myriam lace knit dress she sent in my last fix, however, the pattern was too similar to some of my other dresses so I sent it back. I was hoping for a solid color that was light enough for everyday use and could withstand the high temps of the south.

A Fit Mess

This coral and blue dress was very pretty (I love the neckline), but it was a bit too dressy for me. I was hoping for something more casual that I could just throw on to run errands and such. The pattern was a tad busy for me as well.

My strappy sandals and bracelet are from Banana Republic’s Outlet Store.

Croatia Lace Bib Blouse (by Crescent)

A Fit Mess

I really love this sleeveless blouse by Crescent. The emerald green color is so pretty and bright. I don’t own that many green tops so I was happy to add this to my wardrobe. It’s dressy enough for work, but can easily be paired with shorts for a summer look. I love that it’s slightly longer in the back, too. I’ve already worn it a couple of times – LOVE.

A Fit Mess

I really like the detail around the shoulders and the lace features on the front. See below for necklace details!

Willy Layered Metal Fringe Pave Necklace (by Bay to Baubles)

A Fit Mess

Isn’t this layered necklace fun? I’m really enjoying the gold tones this season and this Bay to Baubles necklace is a nice statement piece for summer. I’ve worn it a couple of times now and have received several compliments on it. I know I’m going to be reaching for this necklace again and again.

Monica Chambray Aline Skirt (by Unpublished)

A Fit Mess

This skirt was so darling! I really liked the soft, brushed denim and longer length. It seems pretty versatile and could likely be dressed up or down depending on your shoes and top. I ultimately decided to send it back because I didn’t see myself getting that much use out of it. I’ll likely be wearing my Kaiden distressed denim shorts a lot this summer instead.

Gwen Crochet Detail Top (by Skies are Blue)

A Fit Mess

My stylist and I have been searching for a white top for summer. She sent me the Gwen Crochet Detail Top and I loved it when I pulled it out of the box. It’s my style for sure. However, it didn’t fit me well at all. It was rather large (I tucked it in for the picture) and the layered material felt a bit too heavy for the summer. I really wanted to like it, but it just wasn’t for me. It would look super cute with denim shorts or a bright pair of pants.

My lavender skinny jeans are from my February fix!

I’d love to hear your thoughts on what you love! If you have received your June Stitch Fix items, I would be interested to know what you kept/returned. Bloggers, I invite you to share your link below so others can see what you received.
