Hi everyone. Before I share a recap of the girls’ 3rd birthday party, I feel compelled to mention how saddened I am to hear about the hateful act that happened in Orlando early Sunday morning. It’s hard to understand how something so awful could happen and my thoughts are with the victims and their family, as well as the entire Orlando community.
We had a great time celebrating with our loved ones on Sunday. The weather was wonderful, the food was great, and we shared a lot of laughs and hugs. I feel blessed to have so many amazing people in our life.
We used streamers and balloons for most of the decorations. Decorating with toddlers = fun!
My sister and the girls decorated their table. Cute, huh?
We had lots of snacks and goodies on hand.
The day before the party we decided it was going to be too hot to grill (it ended up being 102 outside!) and instead ordered souvlaki chicken and grilled vegetables from Mediterranean Deli. It was a hit!
I made vanilla cupcakes and carrot cake cupcakes with buttercream frosting. They both turned out really well, but I think I preferred the carrot cake ones!
Right after this pic was taken, Maddie started crying because she wanted the plate of cupcakes for herself. She definitely inherited my sweet tooth!
My family went in on this house for the girls. They loved it! I’m sure it will get a lot of use this summer.
The girls had fun opening presents!
I love this pic of Matt and Ashlyn for some reason! These two have a special relationship.
Madison got her hairdryer! 🙂
Happy Birthday to my sweet girls!
I hope you all had a great weekend!
