Hi everyone! Feels like it should be Thursday, huh? I’m right there with ya! I thought it would be fun to share some of the things I am loving lately. As you’ll soon see, this list is quite varied!
Protein powders tend to taste chalky and “fake” to me. Plus, I absolutely cannot have whey. Bad things will happen. I love this Sunwarrior blend because it’s soy, gluten, and dairy free. The protein sources include: pea, hemp seed, and goji berry. It contains a complete amino acid profile, fiber, and nearly 20 grams of protein per serving. You know what it doesn’t have? Chemicals, artificial flavors, or added sugar. I haven’t tried the chocolate or natural flavors yet (can’t say the “natural” flavor excites me, but it might be good for baking). I would highly recommend the Sunwarrior brand!
I picked this up during a recent trip to Whole Foods (you can also purchase it on Amazon) and loovvvveed it. I don’t often take baths – it’s hard enough to shower without the girls jumping in with me – but I relaxed in the tub for a bit on Sunday and it was glorious. The lavender scent is not overwhelming and my skin felt really soft afterwards.
I LOVE these capris. Slightly obsessed! The thick waist and high rise fit are super flattering and I don’t have to worry about my top riding up in yoga or when I’m jumping around the gym. I have them in three colors (that’s how much I love them!): jazzy purple, capri blue, and black.
Belle Ambiance red wine blend
I’ve been enjoying blended wines lately. This one was only $10 at Target and it was really tasty. Smooth and light and slightly dry. It pairs perfectly with toddlers. Just sayin.
OK, technically I don’t own these yet (they just shipped), but I know I will love them. The colors are blue lagoon/glow green. Fun, right? At this point, I may have more sneakers than regular shoes.
We have honeysuckle growing on our deck and it smells so delicious and sweet. My father told me you can actually drink the nectar of the flower, but I’m a bit too scared to try that.
My friend Megan’s response to a recent article in the New York Post written by a woman who suggests that childless women should be given “meternity” time off from work to focus on “me.” Oh my sweet, clueless lady. Because maternity leave is just like a vacation. Love Megan’s reply to this and her blog, One Twin Mom.
This blog post by fellow blogger Hannah Nickerson. Hannah is a twenty-something-year-old writer whose perspective on life is thoughtful and precise. I also love the pictures she compiles from across the web.
Know what else I am excited about? My May Stitch Fix items have arrived! I’m excited to share my items with you so be sure to check back this week for my review.
What are you loving lately? Have any fun workout gear to share? I’m always on the hunt for more capris!
