Hello, Friday! You make me so darn happy.
This week kind of dragged for me. I’m not sure why. I was super busy at work and, well, it’s always busy at home, but for some reason I thought Friday should have arrived on Wednesday.
Anywho, I have a work event this evening, but then free for the next few days. We have a few things planned for the weekend and the weather is supposed to be perfect. I hope you enjoy the next few days, too.
I thought it would be fun to share another monthly installment of the things I am enjoying in my life right now. Feel free to play along and add yours to the comments below.
Evolution emerald greens and sweet greens juice –I’m into this juice right now. It gives me a quick burst of energy and I feel good knowing I’ve got some quality greens in my diet. I can’t decide if I like the emerald greens or sweet greens better, but I should save a few bucks and try to make this on my own, huh? You can find this at Starbucks, but I’ve also seen it at Target and Whole Foods.
Learning! I know. I’m totally geeking out right now, but it’s so true! I’ve been studying for my personal training certification (here’s why) and I am enjoying the learning process so much. In fact, it makes me want to learn even MORE. I’ve been exercising and lifting for a long time, but it’s so neat to understand the why behind things. And I love having a goal to work towards. It’s funny because I keep trying to quiz Matt and he answers everything exactly right. Overachiever.
This quote by Eleanor Roosevelt – I love the potential that each new day presents. It’s a chance to take action, to start over, to make better choices. Maybe that’s why the morning is my favorite time of the day (other than being my only quiet time!). Our attitude and thoughts can really set the tone for our day.
Old Navy kids – I just got a bunch of spring dresses for the girls there and I’m dying to go back. Their clothes are adorable and they constantly have sales. I also appreciate that they offer the same outfit, but in different colors. I love dressing the girls in similar clothes and it is fun to be matchy-matchy, despite being firmly against that before they were born.
These ceramic vases from Vintage Home South – I stopped by this local shop yesterday and grabbed these vases for my coffee table. So cute, right? Vintage Home South is a vintage-inspired store located in Durham, NC. It offers decor, furniture, home goods and more. I would highly recommend stopping in if you are local!
Leuchtturm notebook – who doesn’t love a good notebook? You can never have enough, right? I plan on ordering this in a couple colors to jot down notes and ideas for blog posts. I need to write things down or else I will forget!
What are you loving lately? Any weekend plans?
